Sitecore Development Tools
Last week I was honored to be a part of the Sitecore Development Tools Round Table discussion at the 2013 Sitecore Users Virtual Summit. Talking with a team of seasoned Sitecore developers, we discussed the tools and add-ons that we each use during our everyday Sitecore development.
Below is the video of the presentation, where Summit MC, Mike Shaw, hosted Alistair Deneys, Charlie Turano, Mike Edwards, Mike Reynolds, Sean Kearney and myself in a very enjoyable discussion.

Have I missed one, that was mentioned? Have you got an awesome tool that you’d like to add to the list? Let me know.
Happy (efficient) developing!
If I can add a couple…. LogParser from Microsoft and LogParserLizard weren’t mentioned, but are very useful for doing IIS log analysis, of the kind discussed in Sitecore’s CMS tuning documentation. Also, it’s a bit of a stretch from the topic, but I would add Chocolatey, since it makes trying out tools and setting up a developer workstation so easy. Just open a command prompt and type “cinst” + tool to install, “cup” + tool to update. (For example, I installed LogParser with “cinst logparser”).

NIce Post sholmesby! Thankyou for providing this list. it will help other to learn Sitecore.
Great Collections. these tools have made my day. I was searching for them. One question, Has anyone work on Bugherd tool? Do you think that is good for startups?
I personally haven’t used it, so I can’t say. In the past I’ve only used Jira and TFS for bug tracking.
